A violent stabbing incident in the East Germantown section of Philadelphia has left one man in critical condition, according to law enforcement officials. The stabbing occurred early Tuesday morning and is under active investigation by Philadelphia Police.
Authorities said the stabbing happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 200 block of West Chelten Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 41-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was immediately transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators have not yet released a motive for the attack, and no arrests have been made at this time. Surveillance footage from nearby businesses and residences is currently being reviewed.
