A violent stabbing incident in Levi Carter Park in North Omaha early Saturday morning has left three young women seriously injured and police searching for a suspect. The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. near the Levi Carter Park Pavilion, a popular community gathering spot.
According to Omaha Police Department (OPD), officers initially responded to a report of a stabbing involving a neck wound. Upon arrival, the original victim could not be located. However, officers quickly discovered two girls at the scene who had sustained serious stab wounds and were immediately transported to a nearby hospital.
After an investigation was launched at the scene, authorities learned of a third victim, a 20-year-old woman, who had been stabbed in the neck. She was not initially located at the park but had self-transported to a local hospital for treatment. The same victim later transferred to a second hospital for further care due to the severity of her injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been released at this time, and their current medical conditions remain undisclosed. However, all three were described as suffering serious injuries stemming from the same stabbing incident.
As of now, no suspect has been taken into custody. Omaha Police confirmed that the investigation is active and ongoing, and they are urging the public to come forward with any information.
Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers anonymously at 402-444-7867, through the Omaha Crime Stoppers website, or via the P3 Tips mobile app.
